The condo association requires the registration forms on the 1st of each month. By signing you are agreeing to their rules and regulations listed below. If there is a lock out security will have your names on file and will be able unlock the door if I am not around. There is no additional cost. Condo Rules & Regulations
1800 Atlantic is NOT a hotel. Please contact your rental agent if you have any questions. Please take care of our public spaces as you would your own home and respect the other residents and guests and their right to peaceful enjoyment of 1800 Atlantic.
Grill, Pavilion Areas
Charcoal grills are available on a first come, first served basis. Do not put them under the pavilions. Watch the grill while cooking. Please clean tables and grills after use as a courtesy for the next users. Place trash in receptacles in Courtyard area..
Tennis Courts
Courts are available from 8 am to 10 pm. The tennis pro rents racquets. Clay courts are unique and require grooming after use. Please brush and sweep when finished. The brush is pulled, not pushed. No food or beverages other than plastic bottle beverages are permitted. Proper tennis shoes and attire must be worn. No pets are allowed on courts. Please turn off the lights after use in the evening. The switch is adjacent to the entrance to the pro shop. You may reserve court time by calling 292-1215.
Parking
Vehicles MUST display a parking permit or tag. Do not park in the garage unless you have been assigned a space there. Please do NOT park in fire lanes and driveways. Do not enter garage if your vehicle exceeds the height limit sign.
Trash
Trash chutes are available in the front lobbies of each floor adjacent to the doorway to the B Building walkway. Garbage and other trash must be placed in a 13 gallon bag to go down the chute. Newspapers, glass bottles, plastic containers and cans also may be recycled at this location. DO NOT PLACE ANY TRASH IN THE HALLWAYS.
Cool It in the Pool
Pool and Jacuzzi hours are sunrise to sunset. There are no lifeguards. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult. Use is limited to owners, guests of owners and registered long term or transient renters. Please be sure to carry your identification when in the pool or courtyard area. Please observe the following rules for the safety and comfort of all pool users:
♦ No diving in pool or Jacuzzi.
♦ No food, drink or smoking is permitted in the pool and spa areas. Please use adjacent pavilion areas.
♦ Please yield to lap swimmers.
♦ No cell phones, radios or CD players without earphones are allowed.
♦ Absolutely NO BREAKABLE OBJECTS or pets in pool, spa or courtyard areas.
♦ No flotation devices, rafts, beach balls, etc., except for water wings or noodles are permitted. No ball or Frisbee tossing.
♦ Pool furniture may not be removed from the pool deck or reserved for later use.
♦ Diapers or rubber pants required on children not toilet trained or incontinent persons.
♦ Persons with bandages or open wounds are not allowed in the pool or Jacuzzi.

Residential condominiums like 1800 Atlantic are minicities and have their own rules governing life in the community. As a guest, much like going to a city, you should abide by the community rules. The rules will help you enjoy your stay at our community. Consider it your special home away from home. The following rules apply to all who live at 1800 Atlantic, whether temporarily or as unit owners. Please follow them and enjoy your stay in our community. Our security staff will immediately call rental agents in situations where visitors are violating rules. The Association also has the right to evict anyone immediately for rules violations.
Security
1800 Atlantic maintains 24 hour security with Condominium staff covering the Monday through Friday, 9-5 period. Please comply with all requests from security regarding compliance with community rules. Security officers are not the local police. If you have a problem that requires police intervention, please call the Key West Police Department non emergency number 305-809-1011 or 911 for emergencies. All guests on property must be registered. If you have rented your unit through a rental agency, they have registered you. If you have arranged your stay privately, please visit the Association office and register. Anyone not registered will be considered to be trespassing. Your keys are needed to gain reentry to the buildings and to the Courtyard bathrooms. If there are several in your party, those not holding keys should be sure to carry identification identifying them as registered guests. Lobby doors must be kept shut at all times. Do not allow anyone to follow you in, who does not have a key identifying them as an owner or guest.
Protect our Environment
Be sure to put all garbage and trash in 13 gallon plastic bags and dispose of them in the trash chutes in the front lobbies near the exit to the front of the B Building walkway and in the rear Building C elevator lobbies Recycling is provided in these areas as well. If you have cardboard cartons, please break them down and leave them in the trash room. Discard only toilet paper in toilets. No sani-wipes or other items. Do not throw cigarette butts, paper or any other objects on the grounds. 1800 Atlantic has a large collection of native trees and plants, many of which are very rare. Lignum Vitae, Locust Berry, Gumbo Limbo, Buccaneer palms, Cuban Grandfather Palms and many other special varieties are found throughout our grounds. Please enjoy our lovely native habitat. South Florida has experienced severe droughts in recent years. Water in the Florida Keys is a scarce commodity. Please use it sparingly. You are living on an island where water is pumped in. Our plant irrigation system uses a cistern fed by water collected from our roofs. We are all working to conserve our special water resource, so please help us in this effort. PLEASE REPORT ANY LEAKS IN YOUR UNIT TO YOUR RENTAL AGENT AND THE OFFICE. Please wear sandals when walking on the beach as considerable glass fragments and other sharp objects are there that were washed up during Hurricane Wilma.
Common Area Key
The big square key you received is required to access the pool area bathrooms and to access the building from the pool/courtyard, the garages or the outside. Always carry it with you.

All music and other noise must be contained within the unit. Activities in the courtyard are not permitted after 11 pm. Please be quiet when using the halls and lobbies. Noise particularly echoes in the Courtyard area. Park only in designated spaces. Please do not damage our sewer and water pipes. Vehicles that are bigger than the height limits in garages, must park outside. Do not park in the drive ways or fire lanes, even for loading and unloading. Carts are available in the lobbies to move luggage. They are limited in number, so please return them immediately after use to the ground floor lobby so others may use them. There is no one that will pick up a cart in the hall. Coverups should be worn in the hallways and elevators. Please towel dry before entering the elevator or stairwells. Do not hang anything on balcony railings. The only items permitted on balconies are patio furniture and plants. DO NOT THROW CIGARETTES OFF BALCONY.

If you need assistance with anything, your first call should be to your rental agent. They provide that service to owners renting their units short term. The condominium office and staff provide services to unit owners. In an emergency, we are ready to assist as are the security officers on property. Unlike a hotel, there is not a front desk, no concierge service, no bell staff and no room service. You are staying in a residential community with many residents around you living and working in Key West. Please consider them in your daily conduct and enjoy your stay
